ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The Aberdeen Area Community Foundation is playing a key role during the current coronavirus pandemic.

The foundation, a part of the South Dakota Community Foundation, has been able to help non-profit organizations to weather the storm. Pat Gallagher, Community Development Coordinator for the S.D. Community Foundation, provides some of the details.

He said that grants have been able to assist local organizations.

Matching funds for grants have also made a difference in the Hub City.

Gallagher said that because of COVID this will be a record-setting year for assistance.
