Brandon Valley Invite w/ Aberdeen Central; GGID: G25LI

BRANDON, SD (HubCityRadio.com) – For the second time in as many days, the Aberdeen Central girls golf squad picked up a win along the I-29 corridor, this time winning in Brandon.

Aberdeen Central boasted three of the top four finishes on the leaderboard, led by junior Olivia Braun. Braun was the only player under par for the day at (-3, 68) and her teammate Emma Dohrer placed second at (E, 71). Kyle Wirebaugh finished in fourth place at (+6, 77) for the afternoon.

After a few hiccups on the back nine for Braun, she was nothing short of spectacular on the front nine. She finished three under par with birdies on three par fours’, on holes three, five and seven. She was the medalist on Thursday in Brookings, finishing six shots ahead of Anna Eliason of Mitchell; Eliason placed ninth, carding a +13, 84 for the day. Chloe Vikander & Carli Withers also placed 21^st & tied for 24^th, respectively.
