ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – Aberdeen Central will have a virtual graduation this spring and hopes to be able to bring people together for another celebration in July.

Dr. Becky Guffin, Superintendent of the Aberdeen Public Schools, talked about how the virtual plan came together.

She said that students will participate in the taping of the event next week.

The goal is to have everyone come together in late July for one final farewell and an in-person celebration, depending on the COVID-19 situation at that time.

Guffin said that Central’s virtual graduation plan falls in line with what other large schools across South Dakota are doing.
