ABERDEEN, SD (HubCityRadio.com) – On Monday afternoon, the Aberdeen Central Football team released their season schedule for the Autumn of 2025. The Golden Eagles will open up their season in the capital city against the AA runners up, Governors of Pierre TF Riggs on August 29^th. The following week, Central will have their home opener from the Gene Brownell Athletic Complex against the Titans of Tea Area. The next two weeks, the Golden Eagles will be on the road against Brookings & Spearfish on the 12^th & 19^th of September, respectively. After two weeks on the bus, Aberdeen Central returns home for back-to-back games at home against Sturgis & Mitchell on the 26^th of September and then on October 3^rd against the Kernels. On October 10^th, the Golden Eagles will take on the 11AAA titans of Sioux Falls Lincoln at Howard Wood Field, before wrapping up their regular season on October 23^rd against the Arrows of Watertown. There will be no ‘bye week’ this year for Central. The Golden Eagles are coming off an injury riddled 3-7 season in the fall of 2024.
