ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – Keilly Kristine Gunther, a senior at Aberdeen Central, will be competing in the American Legion High School Oratorical Scholarship Program – A Constitutional Speech Contest this weekend.

The event starts on Saturday, April 6 in Indianapolis, Ind. Quarterfinals run from 8:45 a.m. to Noon and will narrow the field from 53 contestants down to nine. The semifinals, which go from 2:15 to 4 p.m., will pare the field down to three. The finals are set for 9 to 10:30 a.m. Sunday, April 7 and will be webcast live at www.legion.org

Participants will compete for scholarships of $18,000, $16,000 and $14,000.
