Aberdeen Chamber Board explains the legislative bills they’re supporting

ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- On Wednesday, the Aberdeen Chamber Board approved several bills that are making their way through the South Dakota legislature. President Gail Ochs talks about some of the bills.

Senate Bill 101 deals with allowing employees under 21 to sell & serve alcoholic beverages.  Ochs talks how to benefits the city as well as the rural communities.

Senate Bill 62 deals with various water issues.  Ochs talks how this helps Aberdeen.

Senate Bill 53 talks about the housing issue.  Ochs talks about the bill being amended.

Senate Bill 44 deals with the destruction of Lincoln Hall at NSU.  Ochs talks about why the upgrade is needed.

House Bill 1288 deals with the Northeast Regional Jail Facility.  Ochs mentions this is a statewide issue.

The Aberdeen Chamber are sorting out other bills that can be beneficial to the city as well as the state.
