ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- On Monday night, the Aberdeen City Council discuss the issue of malt beverage license in relation to video lottery machines being allowed along with them.

Aberdeen City Attorney Ron Wager run down the guidelines in relation to this.

Wager tells the council how many video lottery machines he believe is in the city.

The location in question is at the corner of 8th Ave NE & North Roosevelt Street in northeast Aberdeen. City Councilwoman Erin Fouberg express concerns about the number of casinos in the city.

Fouberg talks about the image this would have to the city.

Aberdeen Mayor Travis Schaunaman discuss the relationship the location has between the city and Brown County.

Fouberg express concerns how adding the casino could impact the property value in the region.

No action was taken by the city council.
