ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The Northern Innovation and Startup Center Director Bea Smith delivered her annual report to the Aberdeen City Council on Monday.

Smith describe what they do.

Smith went over the number of entrepreneurs and told the council they exceeded their goals.

Smith described what they did last fall starting with the FAIL project.  She explains what that is.

Another event they work in conjunction with NSU is the Idea Pitch Competition in the fall.

Smith talks about the Business Pitch Competition that’s coming up on Monday, June 29th.

Smith also look ahead to the Technology and Entrepreneurship Summit coming up on September 30th.  She reflect back on last year’s event.

Smith also discussed other programs they do throughout the course of the year.  One of them is the various tech programs.
