ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The Aberdeen City Council on Monday night addressed the budget for the year 2026.

Bobzien was also asked about other aspects of the 2026 budget.
One snag to the budget is the money that’s going to be spent for a possible two-way Main Street. At the start of the meeting, two more Aberdeen citizens express concerns about this plan.

Dawn Shepherd discuss how the Aberdeen Chamber, Aberdeen Downtown Association, and the Aberdeen Convention & Visitors Bureau can do a better job of promoting the businesses that is along Main Street.
Aberdeen City Council will have a work session 5pm on Monday to further address this.
With these concerns, Councilman Alan Johnson moved to table the budget request.
