ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The Aberdeen City Council held a work session Monday night focusing on the 2024 city budget.  Aberdeen City Finance Director Jordan McQuillen provides some data for the council to consider.

McQuillen next looked at 2023 budget the city is going through this year.

The figures released were through the month of July.

This year’s budget is projected at around $85 million while 2024 projections are around $104 million.  McQuillen explains the increase for next year.

The Aberdeen City Council will discuss the city budget in future city council meetings.
