ABERDEEN, S.D.(Press Release)- We are excited to showcase Aberdeen at the State Capitol on Thursday, February 22nd! This year we are making it bigger and better than ever with a performance by Aberdeen’s All-City Elementary Chorus, booths featuring Aberdeen businesses and community organizations, Aberdeen displays, treats from the Market on the Plaza, live painting by Nick and Nicole Fisher, Beyond the Balloon display, and much more. 6:45 AM       Leadership Aberdeen class departs Aberdeen

8:00 AM       Businesses/organizations begin setting up displays/booths in Rotunda.

9:30 AM       Leadership Aberdeen class arrives at Capitol

10:00 AM     Market on the Plaza coffee & cookies and Aberdeen Booths open

10:00 AM     Committee meetings on the 4th floor.

11:00 AM     Meeting with Lt. Governor Larry Rhoden (tentative)

12:00 PM     Aberdeen Public Schools Elementary Chorus Performance

12:30 PM     Aberdeen Day Lunch at the Capitol Lake Visitor’s Center

2:00 PM       Legislative Session Starts – Aberdeen attendees will be recognized

4:00 PM       Rotunda Events Conclude and class heads to Ramkota Hotel
