Busy day in downtown Aberdeen Saturday

ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio)- Saturday, December 9th is shaping up to be an amazing (holi)day of things to do in downtown Aberdeen.  Executive Director Alexa Sheldon previews what’s coming.

The Open House will run from 11AM-3PM.

Alexa Sheldon talks about the Holiday Jam that will take place at Capitol Theatre.

Holiday Jam with the Hegg Brothers at the Capitol Theatre – Make a Wish Fundraiser @ 2:00PM.  Cost to attend is $20 and can be purchased in advance at both Dacotah bank locations, Quality Quick Print, & Riddle’s Jewelry.  They can also be purchased at Capitol Theatre the day of the show.
The day wraps up with The Aberdeen Downtown Parade of Lights at 5:30PM.

The parade will start at The Flame and go south on Main Street to Malchow Plaza.
If you cannot attend, the parade will be streamed LIVE on Sunny 97.7 – Aberdeen, SD’s Facebook page.
Please remember that if your car is parked on Main before the parade (between 5:00PM and 6:30PM), you will not be able to exit until all of the parade floats have safely moved through.
Be safe, bundle up, and enjoy the float designs from more than 40 local businesses! Plus, you and your little ones will get to see some big machinery all lit up and moving through Main!
