ABERDEEN, S.D.(Press Release)- On June 22, 2023 at around 1:40pm, Aberdeen City, Aberdeen Rural, & Columbia Fire Departments were dispatched to the Country Aire Estates residential division for a reported garage fire.

Aberdeen Fire Rescue arrived to find an unattached, single stall garage fully engulfed that contained lawn equipment, other residential items and a restored tractor.

There was no exposure buildings and a pickup received some heat damage.

The fire was quickly knocked down and Columbia Fire Department was able to cancel.

Aberdeen Rural arrived and assisted with water supply and extinguishment of hot spots.

There was no injuries and the cause remained under investigation.
