ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The 74th Annual Convention of the South Dakota Wildlife Federation will be in town this weekend.

The event, which lands in the Hub City about every five years, will take place Friday-Sunday, Sept. 13-15 at the Terry O’Keefe Youth Hunter Education Center at the Arnie Goldade Shooting Range, and at the Aberdeen Gun Club.

Bob Bucholz, President of the Sportman’s Club of Brown County, talked about the event.

Bucholz said one of the highlights of the weekend is an auction. He said proceeds will go to the Wildlife Federation.

There will be a variety of speakers on hand, an awards dinner and election of officers. Bucholz said the plan is to have a little fun before things get a bit more serious.
