ABERDEEN, S.D.(Press Release)- Looking for family entertainment?  Want to create family memories?  Come out to the Aberdeen Optimist Club Family Free Throw Contest.  The event is sponsored by the Aberdeen Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department and the Aberdeen Optimist Club.  The contest will be held at Aberdeen Civic Arena on Tuesday, March 23.   Registration will be from 6:30-7:00 p.m. with the contest beginning at 7:00 p.m.

The contest will have the following categories:  boys and girls ages 8 and under; 9-10; 11-12; and 13-14, as well as father/son, father/daughter, mother/daughter, mother/son, brother/sister, husband/wife and family teams.  Children participating with parents must be 14 years old or younger.  There is no fee for the activity.
