ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- On Saturday night the Aberdeen Police Department responded to threats made against Toby Doeden who was attending the Northern State University football game. Police were able to identify and locate the individual involved and arrested her for Simple Assault.  Investigation is still on going. Additional information may be released on Monday.

Doeden is a Republican candidate running for Governor for the state of South Dakota.

On Sunday morning he went on his Toby Doeden for Governor Facebook page to detail what happened.(2:36)

No name has been released at this time.  No motive has been released.

Upon the death of Charlie Kirk, Doeden had suspended his campaign stops for the remainder of that week.
