ABERDEEN, S.D.(Hub City Radio)- The Superintendent of the Aberdeen Public Schools, Dr. Becky Guffin went over the goals for the upcoming 2026-27 school year.

Guffin discussed the four areas they are looking at.

Student Achievement:

Guffin discussed how they will approach improving reading.

Griffin also looked into math program to comply with state standards.

Health and Wellness:

Guffin talked about working with the committee to continue to address that.

Community Relations:

Guffin talked about how they did that last school year and looking ahead to the next school year.

Safety:

Guffin told the school board that this continues to be the #1 priority.
