ABERDEEN, S.D.(Press Release) – If your child is heading to kindergarten in fall 2025, don’t miss the Aberdeen Public School District’s Kindergarten Registration Day on Monday, Jan. 20, 2025.
This free kindergarten registration event will take place from 2-6 p.m. at Simmons Middle School, 1300 S. Third St.
Kindergarten Registration Day is free and open to all local families planning to send a child to kindergarten during the 2025-26 school year. The event will feature:
- Kindergarten readiness screening
- Free food and prizes
- Fun activities
- Free T-shirt and photo with the Golden Eagle mascot!
Parents: To register your child for kindergarten, please plan to bring your child’s birth certificate and immunization records, as well as proof of address.
If you’re unable to attend and wish to register your child for kindergarten at a different time, please contact your child’s school. (See ourelementary school boundary map to determine your school.) Elementary schools can be reached by calling:
