ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The Aberdeen Public Works Director Stu Nelson told the Aberdeen City Council Tuesday the process they decided to use to deal with the weather that arrived over the holiday weekend.

Nelson told them the original plan was to do just the emergency snow routes & downtown parking lots.

The plan was not to do residential streets but that changed.  Stu explains why.

Nelson knew this would be an inconvenience but in the long run, this would be beneficial.

The city did do the Commercial Zones Tuesday night.  There was no ticketing or towing of citizens.
