ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The official pheasant hunting opener takes place Saturday, Oct. 19 and Aberdeen is ready to welcome an influx of hunters.

Casey Weismantel, Executive Director of the Aberdeen Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, said this weekend is a highlight of fall.

He said it’s great to know that some of the hunters return to the same area year after year.

The Aberdeen Regional Airport has scheduled additional flights to help accommodate the hunters.
