Flight 3 singles: Gianna Cihak (L) to Charlie Sah, Huron, 8-2; (W) over Shelby Poncelet, Madison, 8-3; (L) to Calisa Alderson, Spearfish, 8-2.
Flight 4 singles: Molleigh Hofer (L) to Julia Oaks, St. Thomas More, 7-7 (9-7); (W) over Grace Harrington, Rapid City Christian, 8-5; (W) Taylor Surben, Huron, 7-7 (7-4). FIFTH PLACE.
Flight 5 singles: Abby Andersen (W) over Maliyah Hofer, Lennox, 8-2; (W) over Cora Love, Rapid City Christian, 8-3; (L) to Mattie Stroh, Sioux Falls Christian, 8-3. SECOND PLACE.
Flight 6 singles: Lydia Nora (W) over Caitlyn Frerichs, Milbank, 8-0; (W) over Ainsley Roberts, Spearfish, 8-5; (L) to Dani VanderDussen, Sioux Falls Christian, 8-2. SECOND PLACE.
Head Coach Ryan Bohle’s thoughts on FRI: “We had four girls win two singles matches today. That’s pretty impressive – Abigail Anderson and Lydia Nora both finished second in flights five & six. Sydney Bohle and Molleigh Hofer each won the consolation championships at flights two and four, respectively. Both of those consolation matches were long tiebreak matches that Sydney and Molleigh really had to gut out. It’s really fun to see these girls have some success and see that their hard work is paying off.”

– Flight 3 doubles: Anderson/Nora (W) over Herlyn/Bosma (Lennox) [8-1]. (W) over
Millar/Schleiffarth [8-3]. (L) to DeBoar/Stroh (SF Christian) [3-8] in championship (SECOND).
Head Coach Ryan Bohle’s thoughts on SAT: “All three flights of doubles won two of three and we were impressed with each team. Lydia and Abigail won two of three and continue to play as well as any team in flight three. This was Gianna and Molleigh’s first time playing together at flight two this weekend but they showed how dominant of a team they can be the rest of the season as they won two out three. Josie and Sydney also won two out of three and showed they can be a dangerous group at flight one. We have some things we want to clean up this weekend but we are happy with the weekend performances.”
