ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- the Aberdeen Rural Fire Fighter(ARFF) station #3 performed a scheduled burn ban exercise Thursday. This fire station is used primarily for the Aberdeen Regional Airport which is about 2 miles from the station.
AARF Coordinator Lieutenant Chris Scott explains how the process works.

Weather Thursday included strong south winds at around 25-30mph. Scott believes this made the burn exercise more valuable than if winds were lighter.
