Aberdeen School Board addressed AI

ABERDEEN, S.D. (Hub City Radio)- The Aberdeen School Board on Monday night addressed a policy dealing with how staff and students can use AI(Artificial Intelligence) during the school year.

Superintendent Becky Guffin told the board that she’s not aware teachers are telling students to use AI.

Guffin talked about how the staff at schools are using AI.

Griffin encourage students to use their own research and not rely completely on AI.

Griffin wants the staff to be careful not putting anything personal when using AI.

Griffin goes over what are not legal things to do when dealing with AI.

The School Board approved the first reading on this policy.
