ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – One of the wettest years in Aberdeen history is coming to a close. The Hub City has established a new record for total snowfall, but will finish well shy of the the all-time record for total moisture, according to Steve Fleegel, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Aberdeen.
He said that local residents will not have to deal with any more snow in the short-term, unless of course the forecast changes quickly like it did last week.
Temperatures will be above normal to start January, but then expect a typical cold stretch to settle in.
