ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- On Sunday, the Aberdeen Smittys split their doubleheader with Harrisburg Maroon to wrap up the season at 25-16.
Smittys Manager Brandon Kusler talks how Aberdeen native Braxton Kusler stymied them in the 6-3 Harrisburg in Game 1.
In Game 2, the Smittys would pull away to win 19-9. Casey Vining had a grand slam homerun. Andrew Ristau-Richardson, Jackson Welke, and Cooper Eisenbeisz each drove in three runs in the victory.
Kusler looks ahead to the postseason.
Kusler feels the team is starting to peak at the right time.
The Aberdeen Smittys should learn Tuesday who they will be playing in the best of three series getting underway Thursday.
