Aberdeen University-Civic Symphony performing classics concert

ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The Aberdeen University-Civic Symphony will perform a classics concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7 in the Northern State University Johnson Fine Arts Center Jewett Theater.

The concert is free and open to a limited to the first 200 patrons. Masks are required.

Dr. Christopher Stanichar, Symphony Director, talked about the event.

He said masks are not only required for the patrons, but also for the musicians.

Part of the performance is described as “gurgling music” which is accurate, according to Stanichar.

He said the concert will not only serve as entertainment, but as a bit of diversion and stress release for the current times we live in.
