ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Veteran group, 40 et 8 at Monday night’s Aberdeen City Council honored Brady Woehl with the 2025 Officer of the Year.

Aberdeen Police Chief Tanner Jondahl talked about the letter Woehl’s supervisor sent requesting he receive the honor. Jondahl talked about Woehl’s stance on crime.

The other reason was Woehl’s leadership skills.

Ron Krogman, Grande Chef de Gare of Aberdeen, also announced the city of Aberdeen was honored as 2025 City of the Year.

Krogman also announced the new location to be used by veterans in Aberdeen coming at the end of June.

Both the city of Aberdeen and Woehl have advanced to the national convention event to be held in Gettysburg, PA later on this year.
