ABERDEEN, SD (NSUWolves.com) – United Soccer Coaches announced their 2023 All-Region teams earlier today, with Northern State University junior Megan Fastenau on the second team.

Fastenau started all 18 games and led the Wolves in 2023 with seven goals, three assists, and 17 points. The junior tallied 32 total shots and 18 shots-on-goal. In addition, she notched five game winning goals and a 56.3 shot on goal percentage. Fastenau sat atop the NSIC in regular season action in game winning goals and ranks top-10 in goals scored and points. She is a 3-time NSIC All-Conference honoree and a first time all-region selection.
