PIERRE, S.D. (WNAX) – All registered voters in South Dakota got an absentee ballot request in the mail for the June primary election.
Secretary of State Steve Barnett says people are responding to that.
Barnett says its hard to estimate turn out for the primary based on the absentee requests.
Barnett says voters still have several options to cast ballots.
There will be Presidential candidates on the ballot along with legislative and county commission primaries. Several cities have also moved their elections to the June date.
