SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (WNAX) – The ACLU of South Dakota is working with a coalition of statewide organizations on the voteOut campaign, focused on equality, especially for LGBTQ and Two Spirit people.

Spokesman Adam Jorgenson says they have been organizing for a while.

Jorgenson says they are becoming a broad coalition.

Jorgenson says their group grew out of legislative attempts to discriminate.

Jorgenson says they will be focused on a social media information campaign and also registering voters.
