ABERDEEN, S.D.(AberdeenInsiders)- Actor and marijuana grower Jim Belushi will appear at the grand opening of the Dakota Herb dispensary later this month in Aberdeen.
The shop was the first medical marijuana dispensary to open in Aberdeen.
A meet and greet is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on July 25 at Dakota Herb, 3307 Seventh Ave. S.E., Suite 110. That’s on the east side of town near Holiday Inn & Suites and Hampton Inn & Suites.
Belushi is the man behind The Blues Brothers Brand medical marijuana, which will soon be offered exclusively in South Dakota at Dakota Herb stores in Aberdeen, Huron, Brandon and Vermillion, according to Dakota Herb CEO Joe Stavig. The stop is part of a two-day tour with Belushi visiting all four stores. Appearances in Vermillion and Brandon are planned on July 24, with a stop in Huron later in the day on July 25, Stavig said.
Dakota Herb opened April 18 and is now one of two dispensaries in town, the other of which is Genesis Farms.
