RAPID CITY, S.D. (DBE Radio Group) – The new proposed parking plan in Rapid City will be overseen by a parking advisory board as the plan is now going to be studied some more and more input will be taken. But City leaders at the regular Monday night City Council meeting expressed their support for a possible workable solution to a decades-old problem. Alderman Jason Salamun (Solomon)said no one was happy with the new plan which meant to him that a solution is near.
Council members reminded each other that the parking advisory board would fulfil the mission of working out the fine details. Richie Nordstrom said they, the Council, were resisting the effort to tweak from dais.
