YANKTON, S.D. (WNAX) – With election day closing in, both candidates for South Dakota’s U.S. Senate seat are making as many voter contacts as possible.
The nomination and confirmation of Amy Coney Barret to the U.S. Supreme Court has energized many Democrats to call for expansion of Court membership.
Democratic candidate Dan Ahlers says he doesn’t support that.
Ahlers says the judicial nominating process needs to be reformed.
Republican candidate, incumbent Senator Mike Rounds says he wants to see another round of economic stimulus.
Rounds says he favors a short term plan.
The Senate is out of session until Nov. 9.
