DELL RAPIDS, S.D. (WNAX) – The Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate in South Dakota says he is trying to talk to voters, but the pandemic is making it difficult.
Dan Ahlers of Dell Rapids is challenging incumbent Republican Senator Mike Rounds. He says the issues have stayed pretty much the same throughout.
Ahlers says voters have been reaching out to him, too.
Ahlers says there is a reason the approval rating for Congress is in the single digits.
Ahlers says he has been putting more than 2,000 miles a week on his car as he works across the state.
