RAPID CITY, S.D.(KOTA)- Yet another rollover crash has been linked to alcohol use behind the wheel in Rapid City.

RCPD Spokesperson Brendyn Medina laid out the current timeline of events.

From that point the driver, identified as 24 year-old Michael Griffithmartinez, was identified as too intoxicated to legally operate a vehicle, and was taken into custody.

Medina said given the location and traffic of the area, its fortunate there weren’t more vehicles involved or injuries.

Medina says despite recent high profile crashes, DUI rates continue their long-term trend.
