VERMILLION, S.D. (WNAX) – Due to the ongoing pandemic, South Dakota university students wrapped up the fall semester just ahead of Thanksgiving and are scheduled to return to campus next week.
USD President Sheila Gestring says all students will need to be tested before they come back to Vermillion.
Gestring says they decided not to delay students return to school.
Gestring says they learned how to react to COVID-19 infections and close contacts during the fall semester.
The spring semester is scheduled to end on May 7 with graduation set now for May 8.
