SIOUX FALLS, S.D.(KELO)- American Legion National Commander Paul Dillard was in Sioux Falls this week.

He says the Legion is working on a bill in congress to help veterans exposed to toxins.

The measure would help all veterans, not just those in recent wars.

It isn’t just the Department of Veterans Affairs to help our veterans.

Veterans have to play a role too.

Dillard is traveling across South Dakota visiting American Legion posts.
