ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The Annual Northeast South Dakota Family Violence Prevention Conference is set for Wednesday and Thursday, June 19-20, at the Dakota Event Center in Aberdeen.

Brittany O’Day, Victim Specialist with the Brown County State’s Attorney Office, highlighted the speakers at this year’s conference.

She said there will also be a special opportunity on Wednesday evening.

Registration starts at 7:45 a.m. on Wednesday with the conference running until 5 p.m. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday. Cost is $70 for the conference and the dinner, $50 for just the conference and $25 for just the dinner.

O’Day talked about bringing in the high-profile speaker.

She said the conference is designed to raise awareness and provide support for those who need help.
