ABERDEEN, S.D. (Press Release)

On 5-21-24, around 5:15 pm, a residential burglary was reported to the APD. Through the investigation last night, officers executed a search warrant on a location and recovered the stolen electronics and all five stolen rifles. Two individuals were taken into custody as a result of this burglary.

Also, last night, an officer made a traffic stop on a vehicle. During a search of the vehicle, a small amount of narcotics were found. This led to a search warrant at an Aberdeen residence. Inside the residence officers located 38 grams of cocaine and 9 ounces of marijuana. One individual has been charged as a result of this, however this investigation is ongoing.
