***Missing / Endangered Person***

The APD is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing man from Aberdeen.  The APD is attempting to locate Joel Wade Helm, of Aberdeen.  Joel is 77 years old and is suffering from the advanced stages of dementia.  He is believed to be driving a brown, 2013 Toyota Tacoma, SD lic: 3M3621, and was last seen in Ipswich, SD around 8:30 this morning.  We believe he may be attempting to drive to the Tolstoy, SD area.  Joel is 5’6″ tall, approximately 125 lbs, and is likely wearing blue jeans, a denim jacket, cowboy boots and possibly a cowboy hat.  If you have any information on Joel’s location, please contact your local law enforcement agency or Brown County Dispatch (605-626-7911) immediately.
