SIOUX FALLS, S.D.(KELO)- No announcements yet, but talks are still underway to save the remaining Apple Tree Children’s Centers from closing in Sioux Falls.

Apple Tree has four centers that provide care to about 800 children, but announced a couple of weeks ago it would be closing.

A center at West 41st Street will remain open under new management.

Jody Schwan of Sioux Falls Business magazine says the current owner is talking to buyers for two more of the Apple Tree locations.

In the meantime, parents and staff members are hoping to hear positive news on the other locations.
