ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The Northern State University Innovation & Startup Center in conjunction with the Aberdeen Development Corporation are taking applications now for the second annual Business Pitch Competition.

Bea Smith, Director of the Northern Innovation and Startup Center, talked about the success of the first year in 2024.

Smith runs down the guideline for entering this year’s competition.

Aberdeen Development Corporation’s CEO Tim Hanigan talks about their involvement with the program.

Applications now being accepted.  Deadline for applications is April 30th.  At that time they will decide who to hear from for Round 1 judging to determine the finalists.  Finalists will pitch for the second round which can be seen by the public on June 30th at the Engel Events Center.

The event in June is something Bea Smith encourages everyone to attend.
