YANKTON, S.D. (WNAX) – When Representative Jean Hunhoff of Yankton moves across the hall to the Senate in January, she will also become Chair of the Appropriations Committee.

She says most of the committee members will be experienced in budget work.

Hunhoff says all committee members have ideas and priorities.

Hunhoff says she wants to follow up on the impacts of the pandemic on state agencies and spending.

The vice Chair of the Committee will be incoming freshman Senator Bryan Breitling (bright-ling) of Miller.
