ABERDEEN, S.D.(KWAT)–April was a wet month across South Dakota.
Watertown, for example, saw 5.08 inches of rain last month–well above normal.
State Climatologist Laura Edwards.
Edwards says all the rain has left soil moisture supplies in good shape.
Soil temperatures haven’t warmed up much.
Edwards says there’s one corner of the state that could actually use some rain.
Edwards believe the weather pattern in early May will remain active, with rain chances virtually every day for the next week.
