ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The Aberdeen Aqua Addicts Ski Team is hosting an adaptive ski event on Saturday, Aug 17 at Dahme Lake just south of town. Skiing will start at 10 a.m.

Todd Thorson, Show Director for the Aqua Addicts, said the event provides a way for those with disabilities to enjoy the water.

He said individuals wanting to come need to sign up ahead of time if possible.

Thorson said that he has been doing adaptive ski events for years and that there will be qualified staff on hand to make sure that everyone is totally safe.
