ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The hot and humid weather may have been tough on some people last weekend, but it was good for business for the Aberdeen Aquatic Center.
Travis Lemer, Aquatics/Recreational Supervisor with the Aberdeen Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department, said that a lot of people used the facility to help cool off last Saturday.
While Lemer didn’t have definitive numbers, he said the number of patrons was well above average.
The Aquatic Center is open from 1 to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and from Noon to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The facility will be open from Noon to 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 4.
Lemer pointed out that the second session swim lessons just started and a third will be beginning in about three weeks.
