ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The Aberdeen Aquatic Center is closing for the season on Sunday, Aug. 18, and dogs are sure to love it.

The center will be open to the public until 5 p.m., before concluding the year with the annual dog swim from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The season has gone by fast, according to Travis Lemer, Aquatics Supervisor. He said the weather has played a role in this year’s attendance.

Lemer said that the Aquatic Center partners with the Aberdeen Area Humane Society for the dog swim.

He said the dog swim is a fun way to cap off the season.
