ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The Aberdeen area got its first experience with winter-like conditions on Thursday.
While final snow total estimates are not concrete, Aaron Dye, Meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Aberdeen, said locally the amount should be in the 4-8 inch range.
He said the wind and temperatures will continue to be an issue.
Dye said that temperatures next week will be warm enough to melt the snow.
In the meantime, he cautioned people to exercise caution, especially as they start their day on Friday.
