As temperature drop, health officials concern about increase in COVID cases

MITCHELL, S.D.(KMIT)- As the temperature begins to drop for fall and winter, health officials are expecting COVID-19 cases to ramp up once again.  Dr. Hilary Rockwell of Avera Queen of Peace in Mitchell says they are better equipped to handle any surge in numbers.

She says there are still precautions people should take.

COVID-19 numbers have been steadily trending downward since the end of August.
