Attorney General completing term as Commander of Army Reserve Battalion

PIERRE, S.D. (WNAX) – South Dakota Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg is completing his term as Commander of an Army Reserve Battalion. He says its been just over two years.

He has been in command of the 394th Combat Services Support Battalion with units in South Dakota, North Dakota, Nebraska and Missouri.

Ravnsborg says he will soon have 23 years in the reserve and could retire, but wants to stay with it.

Ravnsborg says it has been a tight balance between the Army Reserve and Attorney General.

Ravnsborg has deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan during his time with the unit.
